This is due to Joanna the landlady and her amazing staff who all do a fantastic job. They are always so welcoming and the service, whether it is just for drinks, or for food is amazing. (You have to try the chicken schnitzel, it is the best). Joanna recently organised a fund raiser with the help of all her staff and other local business people which shows how much she cares about the community as well as the pub. The Wellington is a proper local pub and we are made to feel welcome time after time. There is a lovely garden area and it is dog friendly. We are so lucky to have The Wellington in Borehamwood.

- DODaniel OzarowMay 4, 20265.0Known fondly by locals as "The Welly," my favourite things about it are the friendly staff, good range of choices on the food menu, a beautiful outdoor beer garden and it being easy to park for free at the shopping center next door. This family-orientated gastro pub also has enchanting features like the old stables seating area in the garden. The Wellington ticks all the boxes and I am sure you will have an enjoyable visit there!

I had the roast dinner and I’ve tried the burgers. Good portions, service was great too. Nice to be welcomed by the lovely young server Anthony. He made me comfortable, checked for allergies and talked me through the menu. The manager Joanna brought my food out and told me a bit about the upcoming events at the pub. She also checked back on me to make sure everything was ok. Really makes a difference when people make a bit of effort. As someone who doesn’t drink I was very welcomed and comfortable in this pub. Clean, friendly and a good range on nonalcoholic drinks too! Will be back soon - thank you
